## how this site works
- stormThe sky is a volumetric storm deck raymarched per character cell and lit from inside by lightning. Branching bolts are drawn as real strokes by the glyph matcher, and the heaving sea below reflects each flash.
- glyphsEach cell is sampled at six points and matched to the character whose shape fits best (after Alex Harri's shape vectors), so edges come out as real strokes. Flat areas use a dithered brightness ramp, and every cell remembers its last glyph so the image doesn't shimmer.
- introThe scene "trains" out of noise like a diffusion model sampling, with a braille loss curve counting down.
- castawayThe little figure on the raft is the bot. Click him to talk. While he thinks the rain thickens, when he starts answering lightning strikes, each streamed word splashes into the sea, and the first sentence of his reply floats on the water beneath him for a while.
- nameMy name is written small in the storm deck as part of the cloud itself. Only the stretch of cloud near each flash catches the light, so most strikes show a fragment, and one right underneath shows it all.
- strikeHold the cursor still and static builds into a crackle around it. Click (or tap) to call lightning down where you point: onto the sea, where it flares and kicks up a ripple, or into the sky. The longer the charge, the brighter the strike.
- botClaude, grounded only in a curated knowledge base about me and told to say "I don't know" when that runs out.
- infraOne container on Cloud Run that scales to zero, with spend capped and requests rate-limited.
